Review: The Lies We Bury

The Lies We Bury The Lies We Bury by Stacy Green
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stacy Green's Detective Cage Foster is on the move. In order to have greater opportunities, Cage Foster has left his job in the Adams County Sheriff's office in Mississippi and joined the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations, moving his small family to New Orleans, where the past and the present collide!
Two weeks before Cage is set to start in his new position, a missing girl from an unsolved case in Mississippi is arrested in New Orleans. Seven long years have passed, but Cage has never forgotten. This is the case that has haunted him throughout his career, but the woman before him has no memory of her former life or what happened to her and the girl that was abducted with her.
Cage works with the NOPD Major Crimes Detective Myra Bonin to to discover the truth and to find a monster.
This story is steeped with the sights, sounds and mystery that is New Orleans. A place where the visible and invisible worlds merge and spirits abound and the religion of Voodoo is embraced.
Stacy once again paints a picture with words that will envelop you into the heart of all that is New Orleans and the heart pounding search of a monster that is pure evil. A monster that destroys the lives of young women for pleasure.
Well done Stacy, 5 stars, and can't wait for more of Cage Foster!
