just one look (a breakdown Series Short Read)

Julia Ford is the voice that is currently telling the story of the serial killer the Jack O' Lantern, in fact she had been the one to give him his nickname. A crime reporter for the "Chicago World" , it was her reporting skills that brought the mysterious informant to seek her out. It was this woman, whom Julia dubbed "the tipster" that led her down the path that put her face to face with a psychopath.....and sent her to the quiet life offered by Shutter Lake....or was it as quiet as she hoped?

This is a short read, an introduction to one of the amazing women of Shutter Lake, a Utopian community created by some powerful people with the means and the ability to create a home for them and those they care about where the worst crimes committed are of nuisance but not of danger.....until now.
